Happy Humpday! How's everyone's week going so far? I for one, am already counting down until 5pm on Friday (just me? ok). Anyways...we shot these pictures in Rittenhouse Square this past weekend. If you ever make a trip to Philly Rittenhouse is definitely worth checking out, it's kind of the "elite" park right in center city. It's surrounded by little shops and restaurants and is the perfect place to people watch (or dog watch) while enjoying a coffee-based beverage.
This outfit is super comfortable and easy to thrown on for errands, shopping, or meeting up with friends. I love these little booties I scooped up at Nordstrom Rack, they have a little heel but are still super comfortable to walk in! They run TTS and basically have no break-in time! I also really like where they hit on my ankle, right at that flattering point that isn't awkwardly low or in a weird place mid-calf, the bootie sweet spot so to speak. The little buckle details on the heels give them a little extra touch that I like as well.
Another item I added to my collection this year? This pacific blue peacoat from J.Crew. I had a red peacoat from Banana Republic which lasted me all through college, but it was time to replace it with a new coat. When J.Crew was having a sale and I noticed that this coat came in talls, I decided to pull the trigger. It's super warm and roomy enough to wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath once the temps drop super low. Absolutely a keeper! I sized up one size so I could wear bulky sweaters underneath (its all about the layering) but if you're looking for a sleeker silhouette you could get your normal size.
What do you think of this look? Do you have a go-to bootie or peacoat in the fall and winter? Hope your Wednesdays are fabulous!
Love your coat and bag! Brown and blue look so nice together. I am actually having a great week :)
