Welp, it's Monday again. I hope everyone had a great weekend! It was jam-packed around here, with Tulane v.s. Temple on Saturday, the Rittenhouse Arts Festival, and Philadelphia Fashion Alliance Spring Collection Preview on Sunday. And a quick pedicure at my new favorite place, Blue Nails and Spa, mixed in.
We started out early on Saturday by shooting two outfits which I'll be featuring on the blog this week. Alex is really becoming quite the photographer! Look out for those this week on the blog! After that we headed to Pete's for a quick breakfast before going down to the stadiums! (P.S. have you seen my list of my favorite Philly restaurants? Pete's is on it, sooo good!)
Saturday was a fun day because I was invited to attend the Philadelphia Fashion Alliance Spring 2016 preview. It was great to see the upcoming and current collections of so many local designers and to get to chat and mingle with the designers themselves! I'll even be featuring some of the designers in upcoming posts so get excited! I can't wait to introduce you all to these incredibly talented women, and I love supporting local designers.
My favorite designs were Victoria Wright's signature skirts, Jovan O'Connor's leather drop-waist dress, Rebeca Imperiano's draped tops, and Senpai + Kohai's plaid vest. The spring collections look amazing too! Follow these ladies for great local, unique fashions from emerging designers!
See below for some photos from the event! Which display is your favorite?
My favorite piece, the plaid vest.
I mean, I think I need it.
I love love love that shirt + pants combo from Jovan O'Conner
Senpai + Kohai hand dyed scarves
Victoria, designer for Victoria Wright Designs, and her model showcase her signature skirt. Don't you just want to twirl in it?
Love that bucket bag in the spring Victoria Wright Designs Collection
How gorgeous is this leather sleeves coat?
After the event I made my way through the Rittenhouse Arts Festival on the way home and fell in love with Rona Fisher jewelry designs. They are all handmade in Pennsylvania and celebrate organic design elements. I am obsessed with this ring and this ring. And after seeing the pieces in person, I can attest the quality is gorgeous. Maybe one day I will splurge on one.
How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?

They have some very cool designers! A lot of their events are open to the public so if you're in the Philly area in December stop by their holiday shopping events :)
DeleteSuch great fashion!! Looks like it was so fun!
